How does the "Wanted" section work?

Stvdirect allows you to create a wanted advert for an item or a service which you cannot see listed. To add or view an advert, use the Buy and Sell options as usual and select one of the following from the "Wanted" category, there are three sub categories to choose from:-

Here you can advertise for a specific item of equipment.

Provide a description of what you want and set the selling price to the maximum price you would be prepared to pay up to £ 2000.00.

This category is intended for companies seeking  to fill staff vacancies or for individuals seeking a job.

In both cases, when creating your advert, use the description to clarify what you want but leave the price at zero. 

 

This category is intended for companies seeking to fill spare capacity or to outsource manufacturing capacity.

When setting up you your advert select the appropriate subcategory and leave the price at zero. 

You may be looking for a spare part, an operator’s manual or for some technical advice. Whatever it is just type a short description and then wait for the replies!

Set the selling price to the maximum you would be prepared to pay up to £ 2000.

What are the listing fees?

For wanted adverts this service is absolutely free of charge!

Adverts will be listed for 90 days after which you will receive an automated reminder to renew or cancel the advert.

Can i edit my listing once it is active?

STVdirect allows you to edit details, photographs and categories from your "my active listings" in "My Account" as many times as you like whilst the listing is active. You also have the ability to remove the listing completely before it's expiry date.
